Since 2022, Retrópico has been conducting its sound research by mixing the warmth of brass with synths and house rhythms, embarking the ears in a musical universe as unexpected as it is irresistibly catchy, with the mission of taking the groove ever further. 

Composed of 7 members, 2 synthesizers and a drummer are surrounded by 2 trumpets, a trombone, and a baritone saxophone.

The Paris-based group performs original compositions juggling styles ranging from techno to jazz, trough synth-wave.


The group is resolutely turned towards the scenic experience, and also goes through recording studios regularly. After a first EP recorded in early 2022 marking the collective's debut, a second opus is released in winter 2024, marking a shift towards a dance-house style.
